Is there a cost to attend the in-person conference?
The Music Industry Summit will continue to be free for students and educators at any institution and ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï alumni.
New for 2025, there will be a registration fee for all other in-person attendees. The early bird fee will start at $50 for the entire conference and will increase to $75 on March 3rd through March 23rd (when online registration closes). Walk-up registration will be $100 if we have not hit capacity. Conference registration will include access to all primary programming and evening networking events, including our Opening Night Party, featuring DJ Premier.
All attendees will be required to purchase tickets for concerts at Memorial Auditorium if they wish to attend.
All in-person attendees will have access to the livestreams of the main stage programming via the app if you are unable to make a session during the Summit.
Is there a cost for virtual registration?
No. Registration to watch the livestreams of the main stage sessions is available to anyone free of charge. Mentoring roundtables, breakout sessions, evening events, and lunchtime programming will not be available for livestream. Virtual attendees will not have access to the Music Industry Summit app and will not be able to submit questions for Q&A.
Is registration required to attend the Pre-Summit events on Tuesday, March 25?
Registration is not required to attend the added Pre-Summit events on Tuesday, March 25. Anyone is welcome to join. A ticket purchase is required to attend the Charles Wesley Godwin concert that evening.
What does registration for the in-person conference include?
All registration options (paid and free) gives you access to all panel and interview sessions in Baker University Center Ballroom on March 26 and March 27, 2025. Seating for each session will be provided on a first come, first seated basis. Additionally, networking events, the Opening Night Party featuring DJ Premier, breakout sessions, and more. Entry to all events is given on a first come, first serve basis based on capacity.
Tickets for the concerts at Memorial Auditorium are not included with any registration, paid or free, and will require a purchase.
Some programming like mentoring roundtables may require an additional RSVP; more details to be announced.
Will I need to register to watch the livestreams?
Yes, registration will be required to watch the livestreams. If you will only be watching the streams and will not attend in person, you will need to . Virtual attendees will be provided a YouTube link to access the livestreams. Virtual attendees will not have access to the app or to submit Q&A.
In-person attendees will have access to the livestreams via the app for any sessions they are unable to attend.
What is your refund policy on registrations for Professional/Other Attendees?
All paid registrations are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
When registration for the in-person conference closes, can I still register on site?
In-person day-of registration will be available if we have not reached capacity. For all non-student, educator, or ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï alumni registrants, the in-person registration fee will be $100.
