Counselors-In-Residence are available to provide in-person support to residents and Housing & Residence Life staff during Let's Talk hours. No appointment necessary!
Let's Talk hours are from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Friday, in Living Learning Center (LLC) Room 160. Let's Talk hours are available during fall and spring semesters when the university is open. There are no Let's Talk hours on Saturday, most national holidays, or during university breaks.
Counselor-in-Residence Program
The Counselor-in-Residence Program places mental health clinicians directly into residence halls to address the concerns of residents and Housing & Residence Life staff.
Program Includes
- Brief counseling during Let's Talk hours
- Preventative and psycho-educational programming
- Follow-up services to residents and staff in response to crisis situations
