No aircraft shall be refueled or defueled while aircraft engines are running or being preheated, or while such aircraft is in a hangar or enclosed area, without the prior approval of the Airport Director or designee.
No person shall operate any radio transmitter or receiver in an aircraft being refueled or defueled, nor switch on electrical appliances in the aircraft except as essential to the fueling operation.
Prior to the fuel servicing of any aircraft or the transfer of fuel into storage, the fueling equipment shall be bonded to the aircraft or receiving vessel.
All fuel products must be supplied from stocks maintained and approved by the Airport Director or designee.
Only persons engaged in fuel handling or in the maintenance and operation of the aircraft being fueled shall be permitted in the immediate vicinity of the aircraft during fueling operations.
Fuel products dispensed at the Airport into aircraft of other vehicles shall be delivered by authorized vehicles and personnel approved by the Airport.
Aviation fuels shall not be dispensed into portable containers, private motor vehicles, etc. without the prior approval of the Airport Director or designee.
Fueling operations will not be conducted during periods of dangerous thunderstorm or lightning activity at or near the vicinity of the Airport.
