Student Association of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians
Student Organizations Dublin
Our Mission
This organization provides osteopathic medical students with opportunities to learn more about family medicine, the routes one can take in this field, and provide connections with ACOFP (national). We offer service opportunities and community engagement throughout the year through volunteering at the Riverside Food is Health Pantry. We have opportunities to connect with family physicians in the area as well as opportunities for hands on learning with residents and physicians.

Services Provided
Food is Health volunteering is a consistent service that we provide to the community. Some events we have had in the past include: residency panels, family medicine OB IUD and Nexplanon insertion labs, acupuncture clinics, and lectures with local family physicians that allow opportunities for networking and building relationships between students and residency programs. A philanthropic event that the club funds each year includes the Dublin Med Gala, alongside the SAAO club, where generated profits are used to fund student conference travel expenses and educational opportunities throughout the year.
