Notice Regarding Wellness Program

Congratulations on completing your Biometric Health Screening! 

Now that you have received your screening results, you can be more informed about your health and wellness needs. Use the information provided on this page to learn what your numbers mean and what you can do to support continued well-being in your life. 

Interpreting Your Screening Numbers:

Below, you'll find the optimal levels for each of the parameters tested during a Healthy OHIO Biometric Health Screening. Please note, Hemoglobin A1C is only tested if you presented as high risk for three or more parameters. So, if your results did not include HbA1C, that means you were considered low-risk for pre-diabetes or diabetes and were, therefore, not tested.

Finding Resources to Support Your Numbers

  • Risk Reduction

    The Risk Reduction program introduces participants to the foundations of an active lifestyle and the fundamentals of movement, fuel and rest for wellbeing. The program includes weekly cohort meetings, physical activity support, educational materials, sessions with the WellWorks Nutrition Counselor and program-specific yoga classes.

  • Nutrition Counseling

    If any of your numbers, particularly, A1C, Blood Pressure, and Cholesterol, were outside of the normal range, you may benefit from personalized nutrition counseling with a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

  • Nutrition Programming

    We believe that food is one of life's greatest experiences and can have great impacts on our long-term health. Learning how to navigate that experience to fit your unique needs can be challenging. We're here to help you on that journey. In addition to nutrition counseling, Healthy OHIO offers cohort-based nutrition specialty programming.

  • Sleep Programming

    Did you know that chronic poor sleep can have negative impacts on your blood pressure, cholesterol and overall health? Healthy OHIO offers cohort-based educational programming on sleep and rest. Learn from local experts, assess your unique needs, practice new habits and find the next steps to help you reset your sleep and rest habits.

  • 100 Day Challenge

    Work out with WellWorks 100 days in a rolling calendar year and you could earn next year's membership for free! When you participate in the 100 Day Challenge, you're joining hundreds of others within our community who are prioritizing their well-being. Are you up for the challenge?

  • Diabetes Education

    If your A1C levels were elevated, the Diabetes Institute offers Diabetes Prevention and Management education. In most cases, scholarships are available to allow participants to engage with the program at no cost.

  • Employee Assistance Program

    A variety of support resources, counseling, mindfulness coaching and educational materials are available at no fee through the Employee Assistance Program. This resource is open to all employees and their household. New users: Use company code "ohiou" to create an account.

  • Individual and Group Therapy

    The Psychology and Social Work Clinic offers individual, group, couples, marital, and family therapy, along with parenting assistance and screenings or assessments related to dementia, ADHD, learning disabilities, neuropsychology, and cognitive and intellectual ability. They offer a selection of sleep interventions, as well.
