Dawn has called Athens home since 2016 after living in Maryland for twenty years. She is thrilled to be joining the Advising team in the next iteration of her career in Education. Dawn completed her B.S. in Human Services/Early Childhood Education and taught at the University of Maryland’s laboratory school, the Center for Young Children. Before her current role, Dawn provided administrative support for three centers in the Patton College of Education for six years, during which she gained extensive knowledge of the college, particularly regarding clinical experience requirements. Dawn is excited to come out from behind the spreadsheets and work more directly with Patton’s students.
Books, birds, and bugs are Dawn’s three favorite ‘B’s, and she loves her family, her pets, and getting tattoos. She always has a song playing in her head, so stop by and chat about music any time!
