All graduate applications must be submitted electronically through the Graduate College. Be sure to select online in the Program Selection section of the application).
Admissions Requirements
- Bachelors degree in science with undergraduate chemistry courses (typically one year general chemistry, one year organic chemistry, and one semester of calculus) from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university or equivalent
- GPA (or equivalent) of 3.0 or better in most recent degree program
- Three letters of recommendation
- Statement of purpose that:
- Includes a brief description of chemistry area(s) of interest (e.g., Analytical, Biochemistry, Inorganic, Organic, Physical Chemistry)
- Specifically states that you are applying to the online master's program
- Includes a brief description of chemistry area(s) of interest (e.g., Analytical, Biochemistry, Inorganic, Organic, Physical Chemistry)
- Official Transcripts of all academic work must be submitted with the online application
- Resume, which must include a list of every school attended, as well as the GPA obtained at each institution

- A $50 application fee is associated with the submission of your application for this program.
